Casa Sa Torre was designed by Mallorqin architect Guillem Bujosa Rosselló in collaboration with the director of the Museum of Mallorca. It is spacious, comfortable and beautifully located in the landscape, with a lovely vista of the 800-year-old village of Montuïri, accompanied by gardens that afford privacy and tranquility, no matter what season you visit. The design is loosely based on the Roman model of one large building encompassing the public space of the home – kitchen, dining room, living room and a bathroom. The private space is accessed just a few steps away across a covered terrace where there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom opens to the pool. It is less than half an hour from Palma as well as the beaches of Sa Rapita, Colonia San Jordi, Es Trenc and others. Although the location of Montuïri is private and peaceful, there are good restaurants and food shopping nearby.
For summer guests, there is excellent air conditioning in the bedrooms. For our winter guests, there is radiant floor heating throughout the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you might need. In the winter you will have orange, mandarin, pomegranate and lemon trees. In summer there are figs, apricots, plums, cherries, grapes and loquats for your pleasure. The interior of the house is carefully and tastefully furnished. The house has its special character which is designed to be lovely and comfortable and not “precious”.
